Experience

2014 was my first year at Randleman High School, teaching English I in the Freshmen Academy and English IV. The next year I was moved to English II and this year I will teach English II and III. I am so excited to continue to grow my relationships with the students, faculty, and community. My favorite things about Tiger Nation are getting to see my wonderful students everyday and being a part of the positive energy Randleman prides itself on.

It's a great day to be a Tiger!!

Bio

I was born and raised in Randolph County and currently live in Ramseur. I went to culinary school and worked in retail for nearly a decade before realizing my true calling - teaching. I couldn't imagine my life without it! I enjoy literature, especially what it can teach us about life and human nature, and how it can transport us all over the world and beyond, but what I truly love is working with young adults. There are some incredible ones here at Tiger Nation! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, music, movies, cooking, being outdoors, and taking care of my two boxers, Sidney and Gabby. I especially love traveling with my husband to new and exciting destinations as often as possible.

My personal goal as a teacher is to provide an environment where my students feel safe, loved, and motivated to try their very best and succeed. I have an open door policy, so students, parents, and guardians should always feel free to contact me if they ever have any questions or concerns.

I can best be reached via email.  -  rhinshaw@randolph.k12.nc.us
