Bachelor's in Biology from Hollins University (Roanoke, VA)

Masters of Arts in Teaching from Mary Baldwin University (Stanton, VA)

I have taught at Randleman High School for 4 years.  Prior to Randleman I have student taught in 6-9th grade classrooms with a variety of sciences.

I also have medical background in physical therapy (1 year) and ophthalmology (2 years).

Hometown:  Roanoke, VA

I moved to Greensboro in 2013, and began teaching at Randleman High School January 2014.  I have just recently been married on June 11, 2016 (my previous name was Phillips).

I feel that teaching is my calling, and I greatly believe that I am here to inspire and motivate students to enjoy science as I do.  While teaching is my passion, outside of school I enjoy my 2 pups, Chewie (german shepherd) and Maddie (shih tzu).  I also healthy cooking, hearing live music, and traveling.  I have recently became more interested in photography and create arts and crafts for fun!
