I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology with a Minor in Psychology at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. Following graduation I enrolled in the NC Lateral Entry Teaching Program at East Carolina University to take the necessary requirements to become a licensed teacher in the state of North Carolina.   I now hold licenses in English Language arts and Special Education.  I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education in Special Education at Grand Canyon Uniiversity.

This is my fourth year at Randleman High School and my 5th year teaching for Randolph County Schools.  I have taught math, reading, behavior disorders, social skills, an intensive reading program and curriculum assistance during my time as a teacher.

Prior to teaching, I worekd as a behavior specialist of an Autism services company.  During this time I provided direct ABA therapy services to children on the Autism Spectrum.  I am currenlt a member of Randolph County's Autism Team, serving as the representative from RHS.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have one four year old son. We both live and work in Randleman and have a deep love for this city and our Tiger Nation. If we are not working you can find our family on the ball field or at the lake!
