The “Pride in the Randolph County School System (RCSS)” program honors employees who consistently demonstrate pride in the school system and exemplify strong character and commitment in their everyday work. While the program primarily highlights smaller, often unnoticed acts of dedication, it also recognizes exceptional efforts tied to larger events when appropriate.
Employees chosen for this recognition are awarded a “Pride in the Randolph County School System” lapel pin. Recipients are selected by members of the RCSS Leadership Team, school principals, or Board of Education members.
The following pages list the “Pride in RCSS” pin recipients from May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026. We extend our sincere thanks to these outstanding employees for their dedication to the Randolph County School System.

If you haven’t already registered your child for Kindergarten, don’t wait! Families registering new Kindergarten students should also complete transportation requests early. Waiting until the last minute to register may delay bus service at the start of school.
🚍 RCSS is planning for the 2026-2027 school year! Make sure your child's transportation request is on file!
If your student will need bus transportation at the beginning of the school year and you're unsure whether a request has been submitted, please contact your child's school as soon as possible.

June is Career Exploration Month at Randolph Community College. "A Day in the Life" is available to anyone interested in exploring a new career pathway. This event offers classes at no cost and will be held at the Sunset Avenue location. The sessions are especially ideal for graduating seniors, individuals considering a career change, or anyone wanting to learn more about a specific field before pursuing training or employment opportunities. Seats are limited to 12 seats per session.

There are only TEN yearbooks remaining!! Online sales have ended. Yearbooks can only be purchased with Mrs. Davis in room B3 at this point. Please bring exact change or a check made out to RHS. Yearbooks are $85. Yearbooks will be sold at a first come first serve basis.
RHS! It is time! Yearbooks will be distributed on May 22nd!!!
Seniors will receive their books at 8:30, so if you do not have a first block class, please be sure to be here for the dedication ceremony and to make sure you get your book.
Juniors and sophomores will get their books during second block, and freshmen will get their books during fourth. Any remaining books to be sold will be available for purchase throughout the day. Books will be sold on a first come first serve basis, and they must be purchased with cash or a check made payable to RHS.
Everyone who has purchased a book will receive a ticket to pick up their book during the first 15 minutes of first block. Please make sure you hold onto this slip throughout the day as you will have to have it to pick up your book. Anyone without a first block will pick up their ticket in the gym at the time of their event.
Return your RCC books by Friday, May 15!
