The Randolph County School System's Career and Technical Education Department held its third annual "From Classroom to Career" event on Friday, November 22, at Journey Church in Asheboro. This Career Expo, designed as part of the college and career pathway, specifically targets high school juniors. With nearly 50 industry partners and various branches of the armed forces present, students had the opportunity to engage with employers and explore the wide range of career opportunities available within the 16 career clusters.

In an effort to inspire bright futures and expand college and career opportunities, Randleman High School hosted a Latino Summit for students. The event featured a diverse group of presenters who shared valuable insights into their educational journeys and the pathways to success in various fields.

Attention Juniors - Do you know the many employment opportunities that are available in our very own Randolph County? Join other RCSS Juniors on November 22 from 12-2:30 pm at the Career Expo. We will leave at 12 pm and return by 2:30 pm. Free swag and door prizes will be available to all those who attend. If you have not received a permission form, see Mrs. Cox in VU-2. Permission forms need to be turned in by November 14.

Are you a Junior or Senior who is interested in learning more about the Apprenticeship Randolph Program? Come out to the Apprenticeship Randolph Community Night on November 19 from 5-7 pm to learn more about this opportunity. If you would like more information about Apprenticeship Randolph, see Mrs. Cox in VU-2.

Seniors, would you like a chance to try a college class before graduating? You can take Psychology or English and more for FREE. Reach out to your RCC representative and check your email for more information. We are registering now for spring and summer, so don't delay!
