This week we proudly celebrate School Social Worker Week! We would like to give a huge thank you to Ms. Brodnex for the incredible care and dedication she shows to our students every day. She goes above and beyond to support our school community by helping to meet a variety of student needs. Her compassion, advocacy, and commitment make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many students and families. We are truly grateful to have Ms. Brodnex as part of our school family! It's Read Across America Week! We have a few easy dress up days to celebrate the huge impact that reading has on our world!!

Our next parent night is Thursday, March 12th! STEAM Under Construction is an interactive, hands-on event designed to engage families in exploring engineering, design, and problem-solving through creative, construction-themed activities. Each station invites participants to think like engineers, builders, and designers as they plan, build, test, and collaborate on fun challenges that connect to real-world STEM concepts.

Class Picture Day is Tuesday, February 24th

Our Battle of the Books team competed yesterday in our preliminary competition. We are THRILLED to announce that we are moving on to the district competition!!!! They have worked so hard and we are SO proud!!

At last night's Board of Education meeting, the following changes were made to the calendar for the 2025-2026 school year:

Happy Love the Bus Week! We're celebrating the incredible people who get our students to and from school safely every single day. Our bus drivers do so much more than drive a route — they also serve our school in other roles throughout the day, supporting students and staff in countless ways. Thank you for your dedication, your care, and the many hats you wear to make our school a great place. We truly appreciate all of your hard work!

All schools in the RCSS will operate on regular schedule tomorrow, Monday, February 9.

Love is in the air at Ramseur Elementary! Check your child's bookbag or folder on Monday, February 9th for their Valentine Grams. They will be on sale throughout the week for just $2. They will be delivered to students and staff on Friday, February 13th.

Due to continued concerns about road conditions throughout the county, Friday, February 6th will be a remote learning day; therefore, students will not report to their school campus on Friday February 6th.

Due to hazardous road conditions, tomorrow, Wednesday 2/4/26, will be a REMOTE LEARNING DAY for all schools in the RCSS.
