Mark Walker, RCSS Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year, was recognized at last night's board meeting for being named a North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) 2026 Burroughs Wellcome Fund North Carolina Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher of the Year Finalist. Cory Phillips, principal of Randleman High School; Dr. David Cross, Randolph County Schools’ Director of Career and Technical Education; Nancy Cross from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction; John Kirkman, Executive Director of the North Carolina Association for Career and Technical Education; and Dr. Womble from NCCAT joined us in support of Mr. Walker. We are grateful for their presence as we honored Mr. Walker.

Back to school bus coordinator meetings will occur at the same locations and dates above.  Those meeting times will be 8:15am-9:30am.
