
Tiger Nation would like to welcome Coach Brandon Varner back to RHS as our women's head basketball coach. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will positively impact our lady tigers. We also welcome his coaching staff, Shawn Cassidy and Taylor Gant.

March is National Nutrition Month - thank you RCSS School Nutrition Team!


There will be a teacher workday on Friday, March 14 - no school for students.


The opening reception for Youth Art Month was held yesterday at the Randolph Arts Guild in downtown Asheboro. Student artwork will be on display throughout March. The exhibit is free and open to the public.


Attention all JUNIORS:

RCC is canceling Thursday evening’s Apprenticeship Randolph Community Night from 5-7 p.m. They will not be rescheduling. The due date for Apprenticeship Randolph applications is March 10th and they have several company Open Houses planned between now and then.


February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and the Randolph County School System wants to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Career and Technical Education staff, including Career Development Coordinators and Central Services support staff. These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to prepare our students for the workforce and provide them with valuable opportunities to explore a wide variety of career paths. Through their efforts, they not only teach and mentor but also actively collaborate with community leaders, local businesses, and industry partners to ensure our students' success.

The Mastery Prep ACT Boot Camps recently concluded with a full day session at Randolph Early College. Juniors throughout the district participated in workshops to further improve their preparation for the upcoming ACT by teaching test-taking and time management strategies.

In Mrs. Scott's Culinary Arts and Hospitality I and II classes, students enjoy making tasty treats while learning about the food service industry. Students also gain experience in the hospitality field by serving food to others. ServSafe is an industry-recognized credential available to students in Culinary II.
