We also want to celebrate Coach Josh Ashby on being named Coach of the Year! His leadership, passion for the game, and dedication to our student-athletes have played a tremendous role in the continued success of RHS Softball.

At Monday evening’s meeting, the Randolph County Board of Commissioners approved a significant increase in local funding for the Randolph County School System for the 2026–2027 school year. This investment reflects a strong commitment to supporting student success and strengthening educational opportunities across our school system.

The leadership of our school system extends our sincere appreciation to the County Commissioners for their continued support of our schools, staff, and students. We also thank the members of the Board of Education for their dedication, leadership, and hard work throughout the budget development process. The collaborative efforts of these two groups of elected officials have helped secure important resources that will benefit the students in the Randolph County School System.

June is Career Exploration Month at Randolph Community College. "A Day in the Life" is available to anyone interested in exploring a new career pathway. This event offers classes at no cost and will be held at the Sunset Avenue location. The sessions are especially ideal for graduating seniors, individuals considering a career change, or anyone wanting to learn more about a specific field before pursuing training or employment opportunities. Seats are limited to 12 seats per session.
